- Only the new growth at the roots is visible: a root touch-up, which costs less than a full-head service.
- You want a soft brown with a cool or creamy tone: see ash and milk tea brown.

- You are not sure which shade suits your skin: the personal color service.
What decides the final price
Two people can book the same service and pay different amounts. These factors usually move the price:
- Length and thickness. More hair needs more product and more time.
- Starting color. Hair that is already dyed dark, or has older color on the ends, may need extra steps.
- The designer. Each of our seven designers has their own price sheet, so a range on the menu is normal.
- Lightening. Going lighter than your natural color needs bleach first, and bleach is quoted separately.

Going darker is easier than going lighter
Natural Asian hair is usually dark brown or black. Dyeing it a few shades darker or a similar depth is simple. A visible brown, beige or ash tone on dark hair normally needs the hair to be lightened first, and the result is shaped by what is already in your hair.
Photos help, but a shade on a screen is not a promise. Lighting, your base color and earlier dye all change what you see in the mirror. Expect the designer to suggest a shade close to your photo rather than an exact copy.

A short history saves time at the chair.

Order of services and aftercare
If you plan a perm as well, ask which comes first. Designers often separate chemical services by days or weeks because doing both at once stresses the hair. Our perm menu lists the options.
After coloring, many people wait a day or two before the first shampoo, and use a shampoo made for colored hair. Hot water and strong heat tools fade color faster. The designer tells you what suits your hair. A hair clinic treatment is an option when hair feels dry afterwards.
