C-Curl Perm in Seomyeon, Busan
A C-curl perm bends the hair into a C shape, usually so the ends turn inward toward the neck or jaw. WENEED Seomyeon Lotte has no printed price for it, so the designer quotes after looking at your hair.

What a C-curl perm is
“C-curl” (C컬) describes the shape of the curve, not a fixed chemical method. Each section of hair bends once, like the letter C. On most cuts the curve sits at the ends, so the hair tucks in under the chin or toward the shoulder. Some people ask for the C-curve higher up, to add a little shape around the face.
Because Korean salons use the term in slightly different ways, show a photo. Point to where you want the curve to start and which way the ends should turn.
Which cuts suit a C-curl
The C shape is easiest to see on lengths that reach the jaw, the collarbone or just past it.
- Bobs and lobs: the ends curve inward and the cut looks rounder. See the bob cut page for the cut itself.
- Medium layers: a C-curl keeps layers from sticking out and gives a soft, neat outline.
- Hair that flips out: some people use the perm to make stubborn ends lie in the same direction every morning.
Very short hair has too little length to form a curve, and the designer will say so.
C-curl compared with S-curl and other waves
The table gives the usual differences. If you only want the ends to behave, a C-curl is the lightest of these shapes. The guide to Korean perm types compares the other names in more detail, and the S-curl, build perm and hippie perm pages describe the shapes in the last three rows.
| Perm | Shape | Where the movement sits |
|---|---|---|
| C-curl | One bend, like a C | Mostly at the ends or just below the jaw |
| S-curl | Two bends, like an S | Through the mid-lengths to the ends |
| Build perm | Large, layered waves | Often the lower half of long hair |
| Hippie perm | Tight, thick, springy curl | Throughout the hair |
Typical meanings only. Terms vary from salon to salon, so confirm with a photo.
What to tell the designer
- Your current length and how long you want to keep it. A perm often shortens the look of the hair.
- Which way the ends should turn: inward, outward or a mix.
- Your history with bleach, color, straightening or earlier perms, with dates.
- How you dry your hair on a normal morning.
The designer decides on the rod size and the method after checking your hair type and condition.

Price and what to expect
A C-curl perm does not appear on our printed menu with a price. The designer quotes after checking length, thickness and condition, and confirms the figure before work starts. You will not find a ₩ number on this page for that reason. For a rough idea of how WENEED perms are priced, the Korean perm page lists the perms that do have menu prices.
The usual process is general across salons: hair is cleansed, wrapped on rods, treated with a perm solution, rinsed, neutralized and dried. The designer explains the exact steps and timing for your hair.
Keeping the shape
A C-curl is a gentle shape, and it can fall flat if you brush it out while dry. Dry the ends inward with a round brush or dryer, or add a little cream and shape them with your fingers. The shape typically softens over a few months as the hair grows. Your designer can tell you when a refresh makes sense for your length.
Price
This service is not on our printed price menu. Your designer quotes the price after checking your hair length, condition and the result you want, and confirms it before any work starts.

Questions guests ask
How much is a C-curl perm at WENEED Seomyeon Lotte?
It has no printed price on our menu. The designer quotes after checking your hair length and condition, and confirms the price before starting.
What is the difference between a C-curl and an S-curl?
A C-curl bends once, mostly at the ends. An S-curl bends twice and creates a wave through more of the length. Meanings can vary by salon, so bring a photo.
Can I get a C-curl on short hair?
It works from about jaw length. Shorter hair often has too little length to form a curve, and the designer will tell you what is realistic.
Does it work on straight, thick Asian hair?
Often yes. Thick hair may need a larger rod or a longer process to hold the bend, and the designer chooses the approach after testing your hair.
